From D&D Wiki
Damage Per Round: A creature's damage per round (DPR) determines its offensive CR, which is offset by its attack bonus or save DC. DPR is determined by averaging its maximum damage output (taking the average of dice rolls, ignoring critics and accuracy) over three rounds. Average Damage. Sep 21, 2017 An example of what you can do with this sheet. I have created a DPR calculator. It factors in a a wide variety of things that many DPR formulas posted here do not, such as advantage/disadvantage, great weapon fighting, elemental adept, riders, DoTs, rounding effects, critical hit chance / damage, when you should power attack (such as with Heavy Weapon Master. First, an up-front reminder. As I have said before I believe that D&D 5e has somewhat decoupled the Damage/HP axis from the AC/Accuracy axis. As such I believe that it's not necessary to factor these into Damage calculations. The proof is in the pudding, or the numbers in this case, and you'll catch a glimpse of some of that here.

Damage Resistance and Vulnerability
![Dmg Dmg](/uploads/1/2/5/3/125300273/847325798.png)
Some creatures and objects are exceedingly difficult or unusually easy to hurt with certain types of damage.
D&d 5e Cr List
If a creature or an object has resistance to a damage type, damage of that type is halved against it. If a creature or an object has vulnerability to a damage type, damage of that type is doubled against it.
D&d 5e Cr 2 Beast
Resistance and then vulnerability are applied after all other modifiers to damage. For example, a creature has resistance to bludgeoning damage and is hit by an attack that deals 25 bludgeoning damage. The creature is also within a magical aura that reduces all damage by 5. The 25 damage is first reduced by 5 and then halved, so the creature takes 10 damage.
D D 5e Dmg Cr Calculator Chart
Multiple instances of resistance or vulnerability that affect the same damage type count as only one instance. For example, if a creature has resistance to fire damage as well as resistance to all nonmagical damage, the damage of a nonmagical fire is reduced by half against the creature, not reduced by three-quarters.
